What is the Annual Fund?
Tuition only covers about 80% of the cost of a Friends Academy education. Every independent school, college and university has this gap. The Annual Fund serves to cover this annual deficit. Participation in annual giving is critical to the success of our school.

Who benefits from the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund directly benefits the children that attend the school. These donations help support our educational program, faculty compensation and financial aid. Friends has many fewer donors than a university or large charity. This smaller donor base means every gift makes a difference.

Who contributes to the Annual Fund?
We ask that all members of the community - parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, faculty and staff - contribute to the Annual Fund as their means allow. Annual Giving is the major fundraiser for Friends Academy and we ask that everyone participate.

Friends Teachers Give from the Heart
They invest their life's work in your children and show their commitment through Annual Giving. Support the faculty who teach your children with your Annual Fund gift.
